24 years of Wonderful Exeter:
After piloting my private aircraft in a commute from my offices in Washington DC and those in Dover NH for 18 months I decided it was time to settle down. The summers of NH got our vote, so my daughter and I looked around the area. Single Dad thought that Phillips Exeter would be ideal to complete my youngest daughter's education. Although that thought was never realized we did choose Exeter and bought a property in 1986 on Carriage Drive of Route 88. I still own the property but now live with my partner of eight years, Joy F. Dill in Pine Meadows Drive, Exeter. My youngest daughter now lives with her husband in Massachusetts and my eldest with her husband lives in Portsmouth, Hampshire, UK. I have been a citizen of the USA since 1999.

I feel very privileged to live in such a wonderful community.
I was born in the slums of London at the beginning of WW2. My mother was an at home parent with my 10 year old brother and me. My Father was a fireman battling to survive the daily bombing of WW2. We lived under the dining room table or in the shelters two blocks from our home. Although young, I do remember the extreme conditions of those times. I also know that we would not have survived the rigors of WW2 without the war aid sent by the people of the USA. My powered milk and concentrated orange juice were just a few of the commodities for which I have to thank this incredibly generous country.
